How to Play - Concept Teaching

This scheme has aimed to enjoyably teach the children at the age of preschool education to match, distinguish and classify the object photos. The skill of matching object photos also constitutes the prerequisite of many skills such as associating the similar stimuli around the child, mathematics, reading-writing, following photo activity chart and receptive language. The skill of distinguishing by showing object photos will help the child to make sense of the goings-on around with his language skills and so enable his learning skills to improve while the skill of classifying will help him to learn the concepts ranking in upper taxonomic level.


Matching Object Photos (The first 20 stations):

The module of matching object photos consists of ten different categories including personal belongings, foods, fruits, vegetables, school equipment, beverages, pets, colors, shapes and numbers. The goal is to teach to match 10 different object photos included in each category. Object photos are taught enjoyably by giving chance for 15 moves in groups in fives at the first 20 stations. In order to be able to pass to the next station, the child should get 60 points by making at least 12 out of 15 moves.


How to Match?

The skills of matching are performed at 1-20th stations. The section of stations is arrived by pressing “start the game” button on the home screen of the scheme. The game of matching is started at the 1st station. When 1st station button is pressed, 1st station of matching module is entered in. When enter is made into the station, the scheme gives the instruction of “match ….” To the child and a time of 5 seconds is granted for the child to react correctly. If the child takes the photo located in lower-right corner and brings it on the matching photo within 5 seconds, correct reaction of the child is awarded by the scheme with visual and audible animations appealing to the child. For each correct reaction, the child gains 5 points and is entitled to enter into the next station by accumulating points. If the child doesn’t drag the photo located in lower-right corner on the matching photo or drags it on a wrong photo, a clue is given to the child by the scheme in order to match the correct photo. For each move which the child makes wrongly, one move is reduced from move numbers and he can’t score points for these wrong moves.


Distinguishing Object Photos (21-40 Stations):

The module of distinguishing object photos consists of the photos aimed to teach to distinguish the different samples of photos from each other, which comprise personal belongings, foods, fruits, vegetables, school equipment, beverages, pets, colors, shapes and numbers that the child has learned to match in the first 20 stations. Distinguishing object photos starts at 21st and finishes at 40th station. The chance for 15 moves in groups in fives is given at each station and he is allowed to pass to the next station in return for 60 points.


How Will I Learn to Distinguish?

The skills of distinguishing are performed at 21-40th stations. After the first 20 stations of the game are succeeded, you may make the performances of distinguishing objects. When the station is entered as of 21st station, the scheme gives the instruction of “show ….” to the child and a time of 5 seconds is granted for the child to react correctly. If the child shows this named object photo within 5 seconds, correct reaction of the child is awarded by the scheme with visual and audible animations appealing to the child. For each correct reaction, the child gains 5 points and is entitled to enter into the next station by accumulating points. If the child doesn’t show the named object photo after the instruction of “show ….” or shows the wrong photo, a clue is given to the child by the scheme in order to show the correct photo. For each move which the child makes wrongly, one move is reduced from move numbers and he can’t score points for these wrong moves.


Distinguishing Object Photos According to Their Categories (Station 41-50):

In this module, the photos which the child is taught to distinguish the different samples of photos of personal belongings, foods, fruits, vegetables, school equipment, beverages, pets, colors, shapes and numbers that the child has learned to match and distinguish in 1-40th stations. Distinguishing object photos according to their categories starts at 41st station and finishes at 50th station. The chance for 30 moves in groups in tens is given at each station and the child is aimed to score at least 120 points in order to be able to proceed to the next station.


How Will I Learn to Distinguish the Photos According to Their Categories?

The skills of distinguishing photos according to their categories are performed at 41-50th stations. After succeeding in the first 40 stations of the game, you may make the performances of distinguishing photos according to their categories. When the station is entered as of 41st station, the scheme gives the instruction of “which one is personal belonging, vegetable, fruit ….” to the child and a time of 5 seconds is granted for the child to react correctly. If the child shows the object photo pertaining to this named category within 5 seconds, correct reaction of the child is awarded by the scheme with visual and audible animations appealing to the child. For each correct reaction, the child gains 5 points and is entitled to enter into the next station by accumulating points. If the child doesn’t show the object photo pertaining to the named category after the instruction of “which one is personal belonging, vegetable, fruit ….” or shows the wrong photo, a clue is given to the child by the scheme in order to show the correct photo. For each move which the child makes wrongly, one move is reduced from move numbers and he can’t score points for these wrong moves.
